Do you ever get to the end of your week and just wonder where all the time went? I have more times than I can count and this last week was one of those. I try to break up my day’s a bit with time at lunch and small breaks where I pray or read a bit. But this week was not conducive to that at all! It is these types of weeks where I end up feeling strung out.
1 O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar. (Psalm 139:1-2 ESV)
Our scripture tells us that God does not have weeks like we do. No, He knows when we sit down and when we rise up. He notes every aspect of every day and cares for them all. He does not get strung out, but is constantly vigilant in everyone’s life. Even if you are not a believer He is watching over your life and seeking to have a personal, intimate relationship with you. He is never far off.
Even when our weeks are tumultuous God is there just waiting for us to turn to Him.
Reflect on: How much you turn to God in the hectic weeks.
