¹⁰ Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” (Exodus 3:10 ESV)

God sent Moses back to the family that had raised him to seek the release of the people who he then identified with. This was no easy task, nor would the task God set before him be easy once the plagues had softened Pharaoh’s heart and he let the people go.

We may be called on by God to do a really difficult task, one that is much bigger than we are. But that is exactly the point. God does not want us doing human sized task, He wants us doing God sized task through Him. He knows we are ill equipped and not up to the task. But He will be with us through its completion if we will only seek His face in the endeavor.

If we only seek those things that will be easy for us to accomplish through our own skills and abilities where is there space for God’s glory to shine.

Reflect on: Are you only seek the easy humanly possible task or asking God for a God sized task?
