3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3 ESV)
It was difficult to find comfort last night after hearing the saddening news about Charlie Kirk. I, as many more did, prayed for his family and our country. We are truly so broken right now that there seems to be no comfort no course correction. America desperately needs to right her course or we are rife to fall.
I do not want to get up on my soap box about all the ills that assail us today, but the one thing I will speak adamantly about is our desperate need to turn back to God as our founding fathers did. Only He can make us right and only by turning back to His truths can we hope to save our great nation.
As believers we can take solace in the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the Lord of all mercies and the God of all comfort. But we must all pray for a revival in this country and that revival must start in our own hearts.
Reflect on: The comfort the Father provides. He loves you no matter what.
