Do you realize your role as a servant of Christ is to be His ambassador?

Every one of us who calls himself or herself a Christian must be ambassadors in Christ name. Our job is to love on others and tell them the good news. We are to do our work diligently and show through our efforts that we live by another standard. A standard that many in this world do not understand or value. But whether of not another values our standards we cannot compromise them.

Think about the work of a political ambassador to another country. That foreign place may have many different customs, thus the ambassador must respect those customs while living out their role as a foreign ambassador. This may mean respect for the others custom while representing the values and customs of their own country.
