8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:8-9 NIV)
Even though we serve a God that is unseen, we feel His presence and this can fill us with an inexpressible joy.
But what when we neither can see Him or feel Him? We can go through a dark night of the soul that leaves us fearful and wondering where God is in our plight. What we do then determines where we are in our faith. What wins out, fear or faith? Are we angry or trusting?
This is not easy for any of us, but if we will but wait on the Lord, trust and have faith, we will see His hand in our lives.
