There is much spoken today about tolerance. This, of course, is focused upon our tolerance of others. Yet, it is God who shows us the wonderfully kind, tolerant patience that is intended to turn us from our sin.

He works on our behalf with great patience trying to nudge us from our sinful nature and move us toward his loving nature. Through works to chisel away that of us which is in the way so that, when done, only Christ is seen.
