8 I have set the Lord always before me;
    because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. (Psalm 16:8 ESV)

Think, for a moment, about your day. Consider all that goes into it. All the relationship interactions, business interactions, personal thoughts and decisions. If you are like most people, it’s a lot! Our lives are busy and highly interactive.

Now, how much of that time and in those interactions have you set the Lord before you? In what way, if any, did you counsel or consider the Lord in what you were about?

Do we not do this because we do not want the Lord involved in our day or is it just from an absence of the sense of God in our lives. You do remember that the Holy Spirit was sent to you when you first believed, right?

No, it is as if the Holy Spirit is just a vague concept to us most of the time. We do not set the Lord before us, because we do not sense the Holy Spirit within us.
