15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them. (Psalm 139:15-16 ESV)
We can struggle with having an intimate relationship with The Father. Everyone experiences this. Trying to make and keep that connection is the sum of our faith walk.
Maybe, today, it will help you to consider that God knew you before you were born. He had a plan for your life that is written in His Book of Life. You may say, “if He knew me, why does He not make my path straight?” The Father is such a good father that He gives us the free will to both accept and follow Him. He will not force us, even though He was instrumental in our making.
The Father is looking for us to reach out to Him in every area and every aspect of our lives. He is there for us, to guide us, but we must listen ever so closely.
