Do you feel like you were called to be a saint?

Yea, neither do I.

Yet, God did set us aside to be saints through the sanctification we obtained in and through Christ Jesus, as our scripture says. Even through our ongoing sinful ways, God desires us to fulfill what He set us aside to be. Thus, we must labor daily to be that which we were sanctified to be through Christ.

This feels like a really hard calling. I know I feel so far from anything even remotely smacking of saint hood. But living a life of dedication and focus upon Christ is living the life of a saint. Even when we do not necessarily do very saintly things.

Reflect on: Your life as a saint. Are you doing your level best to live the life you were set aside and sanctified for?
