13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:13-14 ESV)
Easter Sunday (Matthew 28:1-15, Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:1-12, John 20:1-23): Jesus’s resurrection
All of the Christian faith is based upon the fact that Christ rose from the grave. Without this He would simply be another prophet who lived an died. But the resurrection changed all of that. It proved His godly nature and sealed God’s salvation deal with mankind.
Today is a day to celebrate and reflect upon the price Christ paid and the gift given with the resurrection. We love and praise the risen Christ this day especially, but we need to do so every day.
Reflect on: How you celebrate our living savior today. What He did for you and just how much your relationship with Christ means in your life.
