    and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,^[a]
    and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 ESV)

Do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God.

Seems pretty simple, doesn’t it. God desires a relationship with us and that we do these things in His name. So why do we struggle so to understand God’s role for our lives? He clearly spells it out. Maybe it is our human condition that desires our old sinful life more than the new life God gave us when we came to Christ.

There are times when we are compelled to do more in ministry to others for Christ. There are also times when God calls us to minister to ourselves and our families. We need to be keenly aware of these times so that we are fulfilling God’s current plan for our lives.

It well may be a time where He is asking us to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly.
