⁶ And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6 ESV)

We need to remember that we are all works in progress. God’s plan will not be completely fulfilled in our lifetime. So we must do what we can while we have the time to do so. Go will continue to work on each of us, refining our lives so that His perfect plan can be fulfilled.

When, in the fullness of time, we come to meet Christ we will see clearly His plan for us. We will also see how we did or did not fulfill that plan. You see, God gives us free will. We have an opportunity to be in lock step with Him or to walk our own path far from Him. But God is always calling us back. He knows we need Him, and that without Him we can never be what we were made to be.
