21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. (Proverbs 19:21 ESV)
I have written often on plan making and God’s will. I am no different from you, in that I make regular plans both in my personal life and from a business standpoint. These things are prudent.
But I leave space.
I leave space for God to work and for His plans to stand and I try to not allow mine to get overtly in the way. This is not always easy. If you are a type A, driven person it is easy to run headlong into our days with only an eye upon what we expect to get done.
Leaving space for God to work, even in our business life, is so key to keeping in step and on track with what He has for us. And make no mistake, He has plans for every aspect of our lives.
So how much are you getting in the way? How much are you pressing your agenda forward so that there is no space for God to work?
It is far better to leave room for His plans and divine appointments.
