1 A king’s heart is like channeled water in the Lord’s hand:
He directs it wherever he chooses. (Proverbs 21:1 CSB)

When we look at all that is happening in our nation, all the happens in the world around us, and it can seem no one is in control. That the enemy has full rein here on earth and God is allowing horrible things to happen.

But we do not know and cannot see what God has plan. We can only know that He wins in the end.

Maybe we are looking at this wrong. We are not considering that God is in total control and He is orchestrating these outcomes to a greater plan. However, I think that this too gets questioned because we cannot fathom anything good from the various forms of bad in the world.

When we question what the Lord is doing, we are giving into the doubt the enemy wishes to sow. We are succumbing to our need to understand and control outcomes, but we are doing so without the foresight God has from His vantage point.

Life is a blind corner. We may want to slow down and take it more cautiously, but what is on the other side is controlled by our Lord. In this we must accept the not knowing and simply rest in God’s complete control.
