I have met those who feel defeated in this life. There have been times in my life where I felt this way. Broken down, exhausted and aimless. Maybe you have never felt this way but have faced times when you could not see a real direction in life. You may have even been in a really good place in life but were having one of those “is this all there is” moments.

I think we all go through these times, dark nights of the soul. We all question at one time or another and life feels lackluster. These are the times when we need to reflect upon God’s workmanship. He made each of us uniquely. We are all special snowflakes, but in a good way and we are so vastly different from one another. We have each been created in Christ Jesus for good works.

So if you find yourself feeling like you do not matter, you are not special, or life has lost its luster, stop for a moment. Consider what God made when he made you. No matter what your past has been, you have a choice to begin anew this moment. To take what God gave you and build upon it, fulfilling the God prepared ahead of time for us to do.

Never let the world and this old life get you down and out. Do not let the enemy’s accusations cause you to question God’s gift of your life. Do the work, make a place, move forward. Life has more to offer.
