Difficult to Explain

11 We have a great deal to say about this, and it is difficult to explain, since you have become too lazy to understand. 12 Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the basic principles of God’s revelation again. You need milk, not solid food. (Hebrews 5:11-12 CSB)

Have you ever tried to impart a biblical truth and had people look at you like you were out of your mind? Ok, maybe that was less of scripture and more our inability to impart the Word well.

Rarely is the fault of the scripture but our understanding of it.

Many of you should be well read enough and versed in the truths of scripture to be able to impart it. At least the basic principles of God revelation of Christ, but you still need the milk of scriptural infancy.

So you know, too often this is not your lack of knowledge but your lack of faith. We get scared and do not trust the Spirit within to speak through us and provide the insight we need. The enemy knows he can keep us down and impede others knowing about God’s truth through our insecurity.

If anyone believes that I came to writing these daily devotions due to my deep scholarly knowledge of scripture, I will have to disappoint you right here and now. Much, well most, of what I put here is inspired by The Spirit. I could never have come to write these every day without God’s help.

You too have words to speak given to you if you will but be confident in God.
