A Helping Hand

27 Looking at them, Jesus said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27 CSB)

Have you ever been given a seemingly impossible task? Maybe a huge project at work or maybe you started your own business. Maybe you had a failure in life that took you to your lowest level, a place you thought you could never recover from.

You thought it was impossible.

But all things are possible with God.

The biggest issue is that we try to face our mountains, far to often, alone. We stare at them and wonder how in the world we are going to overcome. But that does not have to be the case. We have an advocate who is there for us to help us overcome our most difficult problems.

Look, I am one of the most intensely independent people you will ever meet. I have never tackled a problem I did not think I could solve. But I have had plenty that I have needed help with and my first go to is God.

We may not be good at asking for help, but our Father is there for us every moment of every day to help us through this life. Why in the world would we not avail ourselves of this near and constant help?

It is only our sinful pride that keeps us from God’s helping hand.
