13 For it was you who created my inward parts;[b]
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise you
because I have been remarkably and wondrously made.[c][d]
Your works are wondrous,
and I know this very well. (Psalm 139:13-14 CSB)
The body is a wondrous machine. When we study how everything works together how can we not believe that God exist!? We are truly remarkably and wondrously made.
We can recognize this work of God inside of us, but we can look at the world around us and consider the incredible things God has given us here as well. Eco systems that work in conjunction with one another in perfect balance.
Truly it is only fallen man that takes everything out of balance.
I read an incredible book, where a doctor drew parallels between mental and emotional issues and physical ailments. He was able to point to specific fears, anxieties and emotional stress that manifest in specific physical issues and diseases. I know, like my father, my stress and anxiety manifest in stomach disorders.
But our Heavenly Father wants us at peace. He did not make us for all of these mental, emotional and ultimately physical disorders. Yes, we will have them in a fallen world where things decay. However, our God wants us reliant upon His provision and His sovereignty.
Thus, we can look to how God knit us together and be a peace.
