Equipped

10 But Moses replied to the Lord, “Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent—either in the past or recently or since you have been speaking to your servant—because my mouth and my tongue are sluggish.” (Exodus 4:10 CSB)

The age old argument (literally, even Moses used it), is that we are not capable of doing God’s will because of our shortcomings.

And guess what, you are not equipped to do God’s will or fulfill His plan!

But that is the beauty of our God. He takes our shortcomings and makes them agents of His plan and His will.

Think about it, how much more glory comes to God through others seeing you do something that only He could make happen?

What ever God calls you to, He will equip you for. He may even call you to one thing and equip you for a multitude of other things you never thought about doing. God, too has a sense of humor. He may often put us in ever more uncomfortable, less equipped situations just to show us how much we are capable of through Him and display His sovereignty and provision.

Like I said, we are not capable, we are not equipped. But God is the God of capabilities and equipping. Just let Him lead and stop worrying about your capabilities.

Truthfully, the more we let go and just go with the flow the more capable we are for God.
