15 You killed the source[a] of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this. (Acts 3:15 CSB)
I like the difference in word usage between translations of this verse. Some say Source, some say Author. I like both.
For today we do celebrate both life’s Source and its Author.
When we can see Christ in this way, not only accepting that He is the Author of life but our daily Source for living we can let the worries of the world drop away. We can begin to live in a way that does not see us blown this way and that by the daily concerns that others face. Not that they do not exist, but we take our solace in a God that is bigger than our momentary concerns.
If we live long enough in this faith life we can look back over the many small occurrences and concerns that make up our days, and how God has been there for us. This should but grow the strength of our faith in Christ.
Thus, celebrate the Source and Author this Easter Sunday.
