13 The one who conceals his sins
will not prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them
will find mercy. (Proverbs 28:13 CSB)

Do you have that one area of your life you keep to yourself? That one guilty indulgence that you would not want others knowing about. Maybe it is not that bad, but it is something that you know you should not do. Maybe it is bad and you are just hoping that it does not catch up to you.

I am probably making some very uncomfortable right now. Well, really not me, but the Spirit may be convicting you especially hard.

It we wish to prosper, and this less in a financial sense and more in a personal sense, we can’t hold back areas of our lives. We cannot say to God, you get 99% but I get to keep this 1%. That is not how faith works. We must give it all. We must risk it all. We must accept God is master over all of our life, not a portion.

What does giving 100% of your life look like? If you really think about it what have you been holding back? Renew your spirit and dedicate yourself to giving the full portion.
