41 …Then Jesus raised his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you heard me. 42 I know that you always hear me,…
Do you know that The Father hears you?
I think often we think our prayers fall upon deaf ears. We pray fervently yet our prayers may seem to go unanswered. But are they?
I am of the belief that the Father hears and answers every prayer. We just do not have the ability to see how. I too suspect that when He answers them in a way different than we expect, or cannot see, it is for our best.
Furthermore, we tend to forget that ”No” is too an answer. Not the one we want, but an answer none the less.
However, I really think that the Father rarely gives us a flat no. I think he is more gentle than that. I believe when we get a no He often changes the course of our actions or situation in a way that will be more aligned to His will.
Lastly, do we act in a way that our faith shows that we already believe he has answered our prayers? Not too often I suspect. We continue to question and fret over the outcome. And we often act to ”help” God along by trying to manipulate the situation.
Yes, our Father hears our every prayer. Thank Him today for hearing and answering them all.
