20 “….And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
It is so very easy to always feel that God is with us. This world and the enemy throw a lot at us and it is easy to get discouraged and feel alone.
But this life is passing and the next has yet begun.
None of us know when the end of the age is coming. We may have watched generations come and go, read about ancient times and yet Christ has still not returned. We cannot know the criteria set before that happens. My father thought it would happen in his lifetime. I have not. I think God has more work to do and more people to reach. Even more growth in each of us.
Practice the presence of God by looking for Him in everything we are involved with each day, each moment. Asking ourselves, ”what does God want of me in this situation.” Seeking Him in prayer continually and looking for ways to grow. So that we may run the race and finish strong, for He is with us always.
