12 Since, then, we have such a hope, we act with great boldness. (2 Corinthians 3:12 CSB)
Do you act with great boldness? Or do you sit back waiting for others to do so?
I get it, not everyone has the personality to act with great boldness. Even if you do, you may be hesitant to speak of faith matters. Spreading The Good News is not always easy. It should be, but we often faulted at even starting the conversation.
This is why I have a number of different business cards. One that is a bifold and provides the four laws that I give to many and another that provides links to both this blog site and Biker Chaplain. They give me speaking points to guide my conversation with others.
I do not shy away from the message of Christ. I strive to act boldly as a believer.
If you are hesitant and do not feel such boldness, begin by grasping hold of “such a hope” we have in Christ message. By doing so we can often find the boldness to act and speak of our faith.
When we act with boldness we display not only the great hope we have in Christ, not only our ever-growing faith, but also our confidence in the message of Christ.
In a world that is ever more hostile to acts of faith, we must be bold.
