5 You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. (Psalm 139:5)

What comfort is there in knowing that no matter where we go or what we do, God is with us, His hand is upon us.

Or maybe you see this as a frightful thing. That God is always watching your ever move and thought.

We need only feel the latter if we see God as not a god of pure Love but one of only Judgement.

Does God discipline us? Of course, like any good father He disciplines the ones He loves.

This knowledge should not be a cause for fear, but a cause to live a life according to our faith. We should feel comfort from being enclosed on all sides by our Maker.
