I am not going to lie. I have wanted to give up many times.

I have lived through great success and many failures. I have been bone weary at times. I have often wanted to just walk away.

But, by the grace of God, I have continued on.

I think we all go through periods of great prosperity and positivity and we go through times of scarcity and sadness. But these are just seasons.

A good friend used to ask, it circumstances and people were in our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. I think this is a very good question for us to pose so that we do never give up.

Even if what we are facing is for a lifetime, and we have God on our side, it will be bearable. And maybe, just maybe, what God gives us for a lifetime is better than we could ever have expected.
