Let’s face it, we are leaving with nothing but the skin on our backs.

All the “stuff” you have accumulated will be used by someone else or throw away. It is a sobering thought.

As such, why do we put so much time and energy into getting more stuff?

Yes, when something is useful to us then it is worth having for a time. It has usefulness and/or serves a purpose. But the reality is that we simply tend to accumulate.

Take a quick peek at your closet, attic, garage or spare room to really realize what you have simply accumulated. I know I am guilty of this and much of what I have no longer has a purpose in my life. So why do I keep it?

When I take this critical eye to my “stuff” there is so much I have that I do not need.
