Just Like Breathing

18 Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18 CSB)

We all get busy during our hectic days. There is little time to think much less continually be in prayer.

But consider your day and how it might go bathed in prayer.

I have written before about how prayer before each interaction has a positive effect on those interactions. Not just the ones we expect to be contentious, but even the ones that we look forward to.

There is much that has been written on prayer over the years, yet it still seems to be the one practice that eludes us.

I have known some true prayer warriors. People who are so in sync with God that they seem to have an open line of communication. These are the people who take prayer to another level. They are in constant communication with the divine. They bathe every moment in prayer as if it has become as easy to them as breathing.

If, we consider prayer as our breath toward God maybe we can improve our prayer life. Consider it just like breathing and work toward that end so that we are in constant communication with the Divine. Living with the knowledge that the Spirit is as close as our breath.
