Don’t Lose Touch

24 And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, 25 not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25 CSB)

Due to our current situation there is a lot being said about our need to not meet together. To keep our distance from one another.

Taking adequate precautions during a time like this is a necessary measure. However, we should not grow distant and never meet together. Whether this is on the phone or in a place where we can conduct our meeting in a prescribed manner, we should meet. Biblically, it is an imperative for our encouragement, the building of love and good works.

It is far too easy for people like myself to withdraw from others further and quietly deal with what I have going on in life. But God gave us friendships and brotherly gatherings for a reason. He knew we needed this interaction.

I am not advocating the breaking of any reasonable rules, but to not lose touch.
