25 Let your eyes look forward;
fix your gaze[a] straight ahead.
26 Carefully consider the path[b] for your feet,
and all your ways will be established. (Proverbs 4:25-26 CSB)

Proper focus and careful consideration can help us to establish the right directions to take in life.

We know the world today has an attention span problem. This problem can lend itself to making rash decisions. Furthermore, by not focusing on the task at hand what we are dealing with in life or business lacks carful consideration.

To establish the right ways in life, making good decisions, we must fix our attention (gaze) upon correct goals with God in mind. When we do anything without engaging God we are not carefully considering our path. We are moving rashly on our own.

Pray first, move second.
