21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot share in the Lord’s table and the table of demons. 22 Or are we provoking the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? (1 Corinthians 10:21-22 CSB)

We cannot go through life divided or dabbling in things that are contrary to our faith walk.

We seem to think that it is ok to dabble in darker things and it will not impact our walk. We do so and over time we becom divided in our allegiance thinking of God as a loving God. But forgetting He too is a jealous God who has bought a paid for us in blood.

Why then do so many of us dabble until we are divided?

Because the enemy is strong in the world and we are fallen creatures. Am I speaking of making excuses? No. I am speaking as one who knows the draw of this world, the work of the enemy and my own weak human state.

Life in this world is a fight and if you are not feeling it you may need to check yourself. There are two types of people who are not fighting this battle; those who have already lost and those who are fully committed, mind, body and soul to Christ. And most of those would be the first to tell you that they know the fight and battle it too.

Look deeply today into your potential dabbling and how it is dividing you from Christ.
