9 But be careful that this right of yours in no way becomes a stumbling block to the weak. (1 Corinthians 8:9 CSB)

We may not realize just how closely people watch our actions. Especially when they see something different in us which is not represented by the world.

As such, whether we realize it or not, we are being watched. They are looking to see if what we say lines up with how we act. If our treatment of everyone is equal and, in their eyes, justified.

We need to remember two things; We have only one judge and what we do should not become a stumbling block for a brother or sister.

Thus, our actions should be atuned to scripture and the Spirit within so that others have nothing to judge. Their only response can be one of interest in what makes us different.

I realize that one of the most difficult parts of this is that this begins with confidence in the face of any circumstance. This is where our faith can either shine bright or seem dim.

Yet, regardless, we know that through it all the one thing that we can always rely upon is that God is there.
