38 …I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone. For if this plan or this work is of human origin, it will fail; 39 but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even be found fighting against God.” They were persuaded by him. (Acts 5:38b-39 CSB)
Have you ever wondered why some seemingly good plans fail and some seemingly bad plans succeed? God’s plan plays more of a part that we expect or realize.
Too often we feel as if our plans are our own. And some times we may feel totally alone in a situation that seems just completely wrong for us. But in both cases God is there. He is overseeing the outcome, even in the small things.
I have often prayed just before meetings or for the outcome of some life plan. I find that when I do there is a peace regarding the outcome. I had to get to the point where my prayer felt like talking to an old friend. Knowing that their love for me was greater than the heel of a man I can be.
When we accept this type of love and relax into knowing that even if plans fail God is in the outcome, we can face life differently. God is in the plan. Actually, God is the plan! Otherwise we may find ourselves fighting God and that is a place we do not want to go.
