2 Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains, 4 so that I may make it known as I should. (Colossians 4:2-4 CSB)

Making prayer a priority can be exceedingly difficult in our fast paced world. We seem to have time for every other endeavor but taking time out for prayer is always difficult. That is until we are in great need, then prayer seems to flow in a rush.

But taking time each day to read a bit of scripture and say a prayer that consist of supplication, thanksgiving and a request for God’s guidance is a must in our faith life.

Take time fo prayer, it pays dividends in better knowing our Lord and Savior and Him helping us know ourselves.
