1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom should I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
whom should I dread? (Psalm 27:1 CSB)

We have the God of all creation as our light, our salvation and our stronghold.

Then, why do we fear?

Fear and dread encompass so many lives. Yes, we will face fearful and dreadful times, but we need not fear and we need not dread. We must simply turn to our stronghold and reach out, plead our case and fall upon God’s grace and mercy.

Only in this can we put a end to fear and dread.
