“The thief comes only to kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Read this scripture again.

Consider where we are right now. Consider all that is happening.

This is, pure and simply, our enemy (the thief) come to kill and destroy. Prowling around like a hungry lion ready to devour us.

But we do not have to succumb to his plans. We have the power in the Spirit, who has come to give life and give it abundantly, to push back against the enemy’s violence and hate.

The enemy is not each other.

We have a choice.
