3 I came to you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom[a] but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not be based on human wisdom but on God’s power. (1 Corinthians 2:3-5 CSB)

Over the years I have written may words here and published them for others to read. In fact to date I am well over 900 devotionals published. But I do not say this in boast, but in weakness, fear and trembling. I know one day I will be judged by every word I wrote and my only desire is that none of them were based on human wisdom as the scripture reads.

I too am humbled as in this scripture because I have not come to you with persuasive words of wisdom but only with what I was given by the Spirit to write. I do not wake up each morning with great words on my mind, but I come to scripture each day with a open and with a need to provide a message for someone else.

Thus, my desire is that God’s Word and Power are manifest in my writing and nothing more.
