6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. (John 15:6)

Do you ever feel like life is dried up and you are just this brittle twig waiting to be broken off and thrown in the fire?

The frantic pace of life can really make us feel this way.

Right now the unsurity of life can also lead us to a feeling of weary, burdensome, loneliness.

But there is a cure. If we will abide in Christ and do that which produces fruit, even in a dry season, we will begin to thrive. We can feel the cooling showers watering our parched lives and begin again to bud. And those buds must be measured in our kindness in harsh times.
