48 ….From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, even more will be expected. (Luke 12:48b CSB)

If we take a true accounting it is normally easy to see that God has blessed most of us with much. Yes, we may have money or success, but more so we tend to be rich in family and friends. Others may be rich in wisdom and knowledge. Still others rich in skills and abilities.

To each a portion has been given and from that portion much is expected. Yes, we should give out tithe to the local church, but too we should be giving of our talents and time toward those who may be less fortitude. Be that in a physical or monetary sense or in a spiritual sense.

To us who have been given much, much is expected.
