6 Surely you desire integrity in the inner self,
and you teach me wisdom deep within. (Psalm 51:6 CSB)

There is much we portray outwardly. The person we want others to see.

However, there is the inner person, the inner self. That which if it were continually on display we might be far more concerned.

God wants us to work hard on the inner self and we can only do this through working with the Spirit within so that we might build our inner self. By doing this we build inner fortitude, deep wisdom, and a discipline that leads to a honest and respectful integrity.
