Romans 8:28 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
28 We know that all things work together[a] for the good[b] of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 CSB)
It can be difficult to sometimes accept that “all things” work together. Let’s stop there. Face it, it rarely feels like all things work together in life in general much less are connected in any way.
However, faith would tell us that all things, good and bad, are working to our good. When we are dealing with difficult periods in life this can feel furtherest from the truth of our faith life.
But make no mistake, in the love we display towards God mostly in how we show love to others we make life a little better. And in doing so we improve the world a little bit at a time.
We are called to this purpose, not to necessarily have our own way all of the time, but to work toward a better end.
And in doing so we work toward our better end.
