It is hard today to believe in much of anything. We live in a world of fake news and we now have the ability to digitially alter pretty much anything. It is getting harder and harder to discern what is true and real.

Thus, it is harder than ever to have faith in much of anything. However, great faith can come from humble beginnings.

The lady in our scripture was suffering from a bleeding affliction. She had such great faith that Jesus could heal her she knew it would happen if she only touched his cloak. And sure enough she was healed by this simple act.

Our faith too can come from humble beginnings and be rooted in what scripture tells us of Christ promises and love. Our faith too can be great in that we wait expectantly upon the Lord knowing that he will not fail us.
