3 For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, (2 Corinthians 10:3 CSB)

While there are many things that pull us from a fleshly state, we do not wage war according to the flesh.

What does this mean? That while there are many fleshly desires that we all succumb to, where sin begins is in the mind. It begins in our thoughts and in the spiritual realm in what we are enticed away by.

If we had to fight in the flesh we would have no hope at all. But the Spirit within assist us in these enticements and provides a way out, if we will but look for the path.

Letting the battle be with the Spirit and not trying to go it alone. We are capable of much more in and through the Spirit if we but open ourselves to His leading.
