17 And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17 CSB)

Many are watching us each and every day. We may not think so but they are out there and they consider not only what we do but what we say and how those two things relate.

Thus, our words and our deeds must be in sync. If we speak of God and His goodness but are hard toward others we do not act out His love. Do we act one way on Sunday or in front of our “Christian friends” but act like the devil in front of those we work with or in society? Do we speak of love but behind the wheel of a vehicle drive like the devil?

I probably just made a lot of people uncomfortable.

But this is our fallen and sinful nature (human nature) coming in conflict with our divine appointment in Christ eyes.

Many are watching and we must be diligent to make sure our words and deeds are in line with our beliefs.
