6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 CSB)

”But I am a good person, so I am sure I will make it to heaven.”

That is not what the above scripture says is it.

No, what is says is that “No one comes to the Father except through me (the son, Jesus Christ).

However, society wants to make the path to heaven the road of good works and good living. But other scripture says we are “like dirty rags” even on the best of our best days.

That is a hard message. In our age of everyone getting a trophy and entitlement, scripture says there is only one way to the trophy and no entitlement. There are many promises which God will live up to every one once we believe and accept Christ.

So when the sign reads “One Way” we heed it for a reason. The same is true with salvation.
