8 If I go east, he is not there,
and if I go west, I cannot perceive him.
9 When he is at work to the north, I cannot see him;
when he turns south, I cannot find him.
10 Yet he knows the way I have taken;[a]

It seems some times where ever we turn we cannot find help. We look desperately but it is no where to be found.

In times like this we can question everything, especially our faith.

But just because we do not see God at work does not mean that he is not. Even in silence God can be trusted to be working on our behalf. Knowing that he knows the way I have taken, and when tested, I will emerge as pure gold.
