16 I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit, (Ephesians 3:16 CSB)

The face we portray to others does not often portray the truth of the inner being.

No, often times the inner being is anything but the composed and prepared persona we take on. Even our closest friends may not know exactly the state of the inner being.

But the Spirit knows.

The Spirit lives with our inner being, working to strengthen and provide power to that innermost part of who we are. When we feel we cannot take one more step in life, He pushes us on. When we think that we have no where to turn, He guides our steps and clears our path. When we are distraught and weary, He provides a ray of light and hope.

Never think that the inner being is alone. Strength and power are there for us if we will but open our inner being to the Spirit to live within.
