17 Therefore, dear friends, since you know this in advance, be on your guard, so that you are not led away by the error of lawless people and fall from your own stable position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. (2 Peter 3:17-18 CSB)

We know how we should be living. We have had ample direction both from parents, teachers and, most importantly, scripture.

But we must be on guard so that we are not led astray. There are many who would see us fall for no other reason than to see us fail.

Hopefully you have surrounded yourself with the opposite type of people. Those who want to only see better things for your life.

Even if you have not, you can start today. We can move toward those who lift us up and who we desire to lift up. Make a move toward the positive in life and let go of the darkness. Move toward a growing knowledge of God’s grace and glory, now and to the day of eternity.
