8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— 9 not from works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 CSB)

We have been given this gift which is not from ourselves but freely given by God. Not something we can earn, so that we cannot boast of it. No, this is Christ saving grace that he gave up his life for ours.

How do you respond to such news? Do you accept and believe or remain skepticle? Do you think that you have to simply live a good life, even though it can never be enough?

These are hard truths. I know many believe there are multiple ways to God. But scripture is pretty straight forward on this point. Aside from the scripture above many more point to this very simple fact.

Very simple, yet so hard for so many to understand and accept.

As we near the gift giving season, consider this most ultimate gift and know that it remains available to each of us. If we will but accept.
