Snared

15 My eyes are always on the Lord,
for he will pull my feet out of the net. (Psalm 25:!5 CSB)

Life can be a complicated mess. We can get snared in may different things, some good, some bad. But regardless, we begin to feel like we have totally lost control and are just trying to juggle far too much. We are snared, often, in a life of our own creation. A life wanted but one that is now overwhelming.

When we feel snared, be it of our own making or not, we can look up to God for help. We can pour out our hearts and allow His peace to take over. We can lay our situation at His feet. But when we do we must not turn back and immediately pick them up again. We must make space for God to work.

But this presupposes that we are not just coming before Him like some genie who is to grant our wishes. We should have created a routine of bringing everything before Him. If we do this, the snares are far less entangling.
